Green Eyes is one of my daughters current favorites. She is 2.5. It amazes me the language she remembers; the soft blanket, the size of the tree, and not being a kitten anymore.

I’m excited to read the Girl Scouts book, I put it on hold at my library. I love One Cool Friend, can’t wait to share it with kids!

Although I may have to wait for some, all of these ended up on my ‘wish’ list. I am trying to catch up on my middle grade reads, & these last two look so good, especially Crow. It seems hardly any books are written in that time period, ‘after’ the Civil War. Thanks for stopping by my blog; Breadbox is going very well indeed!

Home of the Brave was on our state reading list last year. I have to admit that was one time (not always a big fan … is that terrible to say as a teacher librarian?) I was glad for the “list.” Wouldn’t have picked it up otherwise and actually really enjoyed it!

Was a Brownie for all of one year but definitely need to pick up the Girl Scouts one. Have too many more active than I was Scouts around school!

Love love love Green Eyes! Must have read that book a hundred times when my children were younger.

Crow looks interesting. Thanks for a lovely list and inspiration!
