Oh! I really like The Greatest Skating Race. It’s the kind of book that make you feel the sights, sounds, and excitement of the adventure just by reading words. Enjoy!

I really enjoyed the Great Skating Race Colby, a good example of a mature picture book that tells a good story from history. It would be fun to use in a social studies lesson for students to find that special little story to tell. I liked Rules too. Might be a good read aloud! thanks!

I absolutely loved Rules! I read it to my fourth graders several years ago. Thanks for sharing your reads and the ideas via Twitter yesterday afternoon. My Kindle is loaded and carry-on loaded w/ books.

Boy + Bot looks great- cannot wait to read it.
Great reading week with Rules (one of my favorite lit circle titles) and another Shana Corey title (who is quickly becoming one of my favorite PB authors).
Happy reading this week!

I have Boy+Bot on request from the library. Looks like fun. It might be a year for robots. I can’t wait for Robot Zombie Frankenstein in April. I wince every time you announce another Newbery you are reading…I’m proud of you for keeping up.
