Backseat A-B-See
By: Maria van Lieshout
With Memorial Day and summer vacations fast approaching, I can’t think of a better book to take along for the trip than Backseat A-B-See. The book was make for road trips. The beautiful illustrations and clever design make Backseat A-B-See a must for early readers and road trip fanatics. It almost feels like this book was designed for Mr. Schu (road trip fanatic not early reader).
We have an alphabet obsessed child. He’s not into trucks, Star Wars, or sports. He is into letters. For Halloween two years ago he dressed up as an “A Block”. This past Halloween he was a “B Block”. He already knows what he wants to dress up as for the next 24 years. Any guesses?
When I brought home Backseat A-B-See, I knew that I had a winner. I couldn’t wait to share Maria’s book with him. I decided to video tape his response to receiving the book. Enjoy!
