Six Books My SIX Year-Old Loves

03 Jan

I have been a dad for six years and one day. Watching my little children grow up has been the great joy I have ever experienced.

From a very young age (birth) my wife and I have made books a huge part of the lives of our children. I thought it would be fun to share the books my children love on each of their birthdays. Without further adieu, here are six books that my son loves.

Wow. This is a sweet post. Truly this is one of the wonderful things about being a parent — sharing books with your child.

My son (4.5) got two Squish books for Christmas. He’s a big Mo Willems fan. He’s just starting to learn to read words (eeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!). He loves books, too. I’ll have to see if our library has Robot Zombie Frankenstein and Open This Little Book.

I am guessing that each of your children may one day be standing on top of a desk before a classroom of children on the first day of school jubilantly shouting, “I LOVE BOOKS!”
