I have a copy of Walk Two Moons (and a few other Sharon Creech titles) but I haven’t gotten around to reading it yet. Out of the Dust is an absolute favorite. I bought two extra copies of this book as gifts to friends who are into novels-in-verse. Very powerful book.

Sharon Creech is one of my favorite authors and Walk Two Moons is one of her best. Some years I do Out of the Dust as a fifth grade read aloud – it’s a historical period we don’t often think about, and very compelling!

Sharon Creech is a fave in the children’s bookstore where I work. I haven’t read any of her books and it sounds like I’m missing out!
