I still need to read Sleep Like a Tiger – it was the only Caldecott/ Newbery book I hadn’t read yet.

My daughter enjoyed Holes – it was also fun watching the film right after – cute to see that Transformers boy so young. I loved Zagarenski’s work in Red Sings from Treetops – so I just have a feeling that I’d love this one too. Haven’t read Bud not Buddy yet, but the other GatheringBooks ladies love it. :) Have a great reading week!

Doing a teen book discussion group tomorrow on Holes…I should probably reread it. LOVE Sleep Like a Tiger. My whole library was thrilled when it got that Caldecott honor!

Bud, Not Buddy is one of my favorite Newbery’s. I have not been able to find Sleep Like a Tiger in our stores here in Maine yet. And, of course Holes is just awesome! Have a great week!

More action than words. That’s what I love about your Monday posts. You inspire me. Will have to get sleep Like a Tiger. Would have enjoyed hearing you laugh out loud as you read Bud Not Buddy–some great moments in that book.
