The cover of Dollbones kind of creeps me out. Not sure if I could read (though I know I shouldn’t judge a book and all that)…I’m so excited about Donalyn’s new book! I’ll have to add it to my amazon wish list!

I think Doll Bones and A Tangle of Knots might be my two most anticipated MG reads of the summer…CANNOT WAIT!

I am intrigued by Doll Bones though I don’t usually read creepy books. Do you ever bake? I had to after I read A Tangle of Knots. http://readingtl.blogspot.com/2013/04/lime-pound-cake-from-tangle-of-knots.html It was yummy too. I still want to try some of the other recipes too. Happy reading.

A Tangle of Knots was a very sweet story that had me panning to do some baking. I love the inclusion of cake recipes throughout the story so I suppose we could consider the cakes as minor characters too. ATOKs reminded me of another sweet story, Savvy. As a kid, I think we all like to wonder what it might be like to have some magical type power or talent.
I really want to read Doll Bones because of all the book love its getting on Twitter. I am just going to flat out buy Galaxy Zack because the cover is so lively and what kid doesn’t love aliens in a story?
