  1. I’ve been hearing about The Might Miss Malone so I added it to my TBR list. I’m reading The Watsons Go To Birmingham to my 6th graders right now, so after I read Malone it should be an easy sell to them! 🙂

Oh, yeah, thanks for getting me HOOKED on Babymouse-just finished the 3rd one and my reluctant 6th grade readers are LOVING Babymouse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. I love the cover of the Mighty Miss Malone. I love the artwork In A Blue Room. It’s funny, I remember the other books i was reading when I read that one. We read The Ballad of Valentine at the same time and the illustrations were somewhat similar while being completely different. And we read a picture book about a girl and her brother who get swept away in the wind that I didn’t care for. 🙂 Happy reading!

  3. I am kicking myself for not snatching up Mighty Miss Malone before putting it out for the kids in my library to check out. It looks amazing! And I also love In a Blue Room. Thanks for reminding me of it, I can add it to my list of Dream Big, Read titles for this summer!

  4. Great book picks. I like the variety. I read a picture book every day to my kindergarteners, so wonderful to see ones I may miss! I usually read MG or YA for fun, but I am currently reading Dance On Fire by James Garcia Jr. I love my vampires!

I haven’t read any of these books although I have put The Mighty Miss Malone into my wish list after reading something you mentioned about it previously, I think on Goodreads.
Thanks for being a inspiration and helping me catch the mg reading bug!
