  1. I really enjoyed the Great Skating Race Colby, a good example of a mature picture book that tells a good story from history. It would be fun to use in a social studies lesson for students to find that special little story to tell. I liked Rules too. Might be a good read aloud! thanks!


  2. I have Boy+Bot on request from the library. Looks like fun. It might be a year for robots. I can’t wait for Robot Zombie Frankenstein in April. I wince every time you announce another Newbery you are reading…I’m proud of you for keeping up. 🙂
