My daughter enjoyed Holes – it was also fun watching the film right after – cute to see that Transformers boy so young. I loved Zagarenski’s work in Red Sings from Treetops – so I just have a feeling that I’d love this one too. Haven’t read Bud not Buddy yet, but the other GatheringBooks ladies love it.🙂 Have a great reading week!
Doing a teen book discussion group tomorrow on Holes…I should probably reread it. LOVE Sleep Like a Tiger. My whole library was thrilled when it got that Caldecott honor!
Bud, Not Buddy is one of my favorite Newbery’s. I have not been able to find Sleep Like a Tiger in our stores here in Maine yet. And, of course Holes is just awesome! Have a great week!
