Thirteen 2013 Books I’m Thankful For

Thanksgiving seems like the perfect day to list a few books that I’m glad came into the world during the year. My goal is to complete this list in 13 minutes. Not much thinking, hardly any writing, just a blitz of books.

  1. You have so many that I love on this list. I would like to add that I am thankful for Matt de la Pena’s THE LIVING, which made my recent Thanksgiving travels, with its delays, inclement weather, and nasty airports, incredibly enjoyable. Happy Thanksgiving!

    1. Shawna – Matt de la Pena does not get onto many top-ten lists, but We Were Here made me cry about a group of kids that I would – otherwise – have had trouble connecting to. I haven’t read The Living, but I’ll go look it up.

  2. What a wonderfully diverse list, Colby 🙂 I have THE REAL BOY, but still haven’t read it *sigh* Right now I’m on the last 3rd of CHAMPION by Marie Lu. It’s SO good 🙂

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving 😀
