Yesterday my students spent most of the day publishing their infographics. From about 10:00 – 2:30 my students were engaged in one of the most powerful learning events that I have ever been a part of.

It was magical.

I’ll probably write more about our day at a later date, but I thought a quick video of our day would be the perfect “slice”.

  1. This is learning at its highest dimension. The smiles on the kids’ faces tell it all. Thanks for sharing. [I love the music you chose to accompany the video. I even wiped away a tear – or two – as I watched and listened.] Congrats to you and your kiddos on a JOB WELL DONE.

  2. Watching the video helped me understand you worked hard, but you and your kids have fun. Isn’t that what constitutes a “best day ever?” πŸ™‚

You students look so proud of themselves in the end photos. I bet you’re pretty proud of them too!

  3. What a great video! The kids looked like they were hard at work and very proud of the results (and I love that t-shirt one woman was wearing with the Linda Urban titles on the back~ couldn’t quite read the front).

  4. Thanks for sharing your great day! Please consider posting a link on Digital Literacy Sunday on my blog. It’s the next best thing!

  5. I want to do this! This looks like an incredible learning experience. What an amazing day for your students. I’m sure this will become a very positive long-lasting memory for all of them. Thanks for sharing the video. It really made the experience come to life for those of us who missed out and couldn’t be there to join all of you. Hurray for your kiddos!!

  6. I wish my kids could be in your classroom. Literacy at its finest! The kids are so engaged and having so much fun as they produce and publish. Looks like a fun- filled Friday.
