A few years ago we started a news team at Parma Elementary. Our team is filled with dedicated third, fourth and fifth graders. We meet each Wednesday morning to learn something new, plan our segments, and work on creating content for our next episode.
Check out one of their episodes!
I have the best job in the world. Yesterday one of my students discovered a new favorite author. He felt a little guilty about it.
Friday was a whole lot of fun. We ended our day previewing our Scholastic Book Fair. Before we left I let each one of my students pick out a book. Buying them each a book made me feel like Santa Claus.
I have the best job in the world. Each day I get to hang out with 27 third graders that push me to be the best version of myself.

Yesterday was pretty special. We had the opportunity to attend a field trip at our county fairgrounds where the focus was agriculture. I LOVE when my students have the opportunity to learn together outside of our classroom. My favorite station was the one about goats. Goats are so interesting!
